This beautifully constructed vintage dress by Lanz Originals reflects the folkloric influence that swept fashion in the mid-1970s, echoing the romantic silhouettes and rich patterning popularized during Yves Saint Laurent 1976 Russian Collection.
Design details include a quilted floral bodice in purple, plum, and muted green tones, framed with black trim. The collar is banded with a center front button closure, and sleeves and skirt are rendered in dark espresso brown corduroy. The entire piece is unlined. And the most important detail of all...this dress has pockets!
